  • Altar Guild (prepares the church for worship)
  • Musician (Keyboards, Vocalist, Instrumentalist)
  • Acolyte (Altar server)
  • Lector/Intercessor (readers of Scripture and the Prayers of the People)
  • Chalice Bearers (serves the wine at communion)
  • Eucharistic Visitor (takes communion to the home-bound)
  • Nursing Home Services (assists with worship and companionship at three nursing home services monthly)
  • Usher
  • Teller (helps count the offering weekly)
  • Coffee Hour Host (presents the bread and wine for communion and provides coffee and treats for the after worship fellowship)
Administrative
  • Office Volunteer (staffs the front office on weekdays)
  • Newsletter Prep (helps assemble the newsletter monthly)
Committees
  • Vestry (elected congregation council that oversees the business of the parish)
  • Building and Grounds (oversees church property and grounds)
  • Christian Formation (plans and supervises Christian Education for all ages)
  • Communications (manages parish communication and publicity)
  • Endowment (manages the various endowment funds of the parish)
  • Finance (oversees the day-to-day finances of the parish)
  • Policy (develops church policies for building use, marriage preparation, etc.)
  • Outreach (plans and supervises parish outreach efforts to the poor and marginalized in North Platte and beyond)
  • Stewardship (oversees the annual pledge drive for the parish)
  • Worship and the Arts (plans liturgy and music for parish worship)
  • Parish Life (plans and provides receptions for various occasions)
Service
  • Downtown Community Meal (a food ministry feeding 80-120 hungry people each Wednesday evening—in conjunction with St. Patrick’s Catholic Church and First Christian Church)
  • Back-to-School Haircuts (an outreach event providing haircuts to children from low-income families)
  • Family Christmas Tree Raffle (an outreach event providing Christmas Trees to families who cannot afford one)
  • Rummage Sale (a fund raising event for the Christian Formation Committee)
  • Funeral Receptions/Luncheons (prepares and serves food for receptions or luncheons following funerals)
